Volunteer

Are you interested in volunteering and making a difference?

Courage to Care welcomes new volunteers – we believe all volunteers bring unique skills and strengths to the program. There are opportunities to be involved in a range of roles and activities, either behind the scenes or with direct contact with the public. We can accommodate short or long term commitment.

Training programs are available for those who want to offer a longer term engagement and develop their presentation and facilitation skills. These roles involve direct contact with students so require a valid NSW Working with Children Check. Please see role descriptions below.

Corporate and skilled volunteering

Corporate volunteering allows employees to gain a sense of achievement from utilising their skills and contributing their time to make a real difference to the community, while enabling businesses to meet their corporate social responsibility. More and more businesses are realising that work-based volunteering helps build morale at work and fosters relationships between the business sector and the community.

Big or small, the size of your organisation doesn’t matter. We welcome any individuals or corporate teams who would like to support us in delivering our social acceptance and upstander education program.

Courage to Care is undergoing expansion and needs skilled volunteers to help improve our efficiency and enable greater community impact. Some key areas in which we would value your support are event management, grant applications, fundraising, crowdfunding campaigns, marketing and public relations, script writing and video production, graphic design, Salesforce implementation, program evaluation and developing volunteer HR policies and procedures.

Do you or your team have these skills and/or other strengths or knowledge that may assist us? You may wish to contribute your time in a hands-on role, or as a mentor or trainer, either in our office or off-site. To discuss how you might be able to support Courage to Care or to find out more, please complete the below form and we will be in contact with you shortly.

Alternatively, you can contact Vicki about potential volunteering opportunities, visit us on Facebook, call us on 9321 6300 or email the office
